The Opportunity

The role of the Client Relationship Manager is to create long-term, trusting and profitable relationships with our clients. In this position, you will oversee a portfolio of small to medium Commercial & Industrial clients, renew the electricity contracts of these clients, and develop and close new business opportunities that arise from within this client base

This role is also open to be worked from Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, or other locations across the NEM.

Key responsibilities
  • Nurture existing clients to strategically grow market share
  • Ensure sales targets are met (Renewal, Gross Margin, MWh retention and New Business)
  • Participate in strategy discussions to discover client problems and identify desired outcomes
  • Collaborate with the Engineering department to identify energy management solutions and opportunities
  • Act as the primary point-of-contact for your client portfolio and related administrative requirements
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of our products and services to deliver best outcome for clients
  • Provide clients with analysis on their pricing performance or performance against benchmarks
  • Ensure that business activities with the customer meet quality expectations and standards.
About you

As an experienced energy sector professional, you have knowledge of the relevant parties in the renewable energy sector, and how the Flow Power product offering gives us a point of differentiation in the market. To demonstrate that you would be successful in this role, we would expect to see:

  • Preferred Bachelor level study in Business Administration, Commerce or similar
  • Evidence of success in Account Management position, selling ‘solutions’ in a B2B market
  • Exceptional ability to communicate and present at all levels of an organization
  • Strong prior use and comfortability with a range of CRM software and MS Office tools
  • Ability to demonstrate commercial acumen to learn the Flow Power business model and product offering, as well customer business needs
  • Knowledge and experience within the Energy Market
